G-day from Brisbane.
« on: July 07, 2016, 04:46:39 AM »
I am fairly new to the science of distilling. I started building my still and buying a second hand column in 3 weeks

My set up once finished.

50L Beer keg boiler, 2200W element, power controller that will controll my e- parrot too and and water flow level. a SS 2" gate valve for drainage on the bottom.

4" ProCap Dash I think its that one.

I working also on stainless steel fermenters with a thermostats. Dream is to have sight glass on the ss 2" gate valve for drainage too.

But also have 2 60l plastic fermenters with tomato paste wash waiting to be distilled in 3 weeks

Hoping you get it sorted and have settled in to making great booze.

What size is your still and how much does it produce?

With my tiny 2.5" still I usually clock in at about one gallon of proof alcohol per hour of run time.
But that does not include all the setup and strip time.

Still, it is much more than I need.
And less than I want :)

Stay calm and follow the screaming people.
