Hi from Scotland
« on: August 14, 2019, 01:50:09 AM »
Hi folks, I’ve been talking to Shifu on message who asked about my name, which is a private joke that I won’t go into be he asked me to explain a bit because there’s a few folk who use the “Croze” moniker.

Basically a Croze is the slit at each end of a stave from a cask which holds the barrel head in place. In my line of work (whisky industry) a Leaky Croze is one of the most common issues we have when it comes to a leaking cask, and just needs the hoops tightening up.

Nothing exciting really!

Anyway, I’m here, making an eParrot and a distillery controller as you’ll see from my posts.

Thanks for having me!

Hi again LeakyCroze,

Thanks for the explanation. It helps me to remember one Croze from another  :)

ShiFu means master in China. And almost everyone is a master.
If you are, for example, a taxi driver here then the passengers address you as ShiFu since you are the master of the taxi.

Stay calm and follow the screaming people.
