Hi AB ,
That depends on what you want to make.
Tastefull stuff,
or neutral like wodfka,or neutral for fruit flavored liqueurs.

To be more precise:
Do you want to make calvados, whisky, cognac, and or eux de vie use a pottstill or a plated colomn.
Do you want neutral and so on use a reflux colum like a boka bob .

However to make it even more complicated ,you can use a bokabob  reflux column liquid managment and you can do both, valve wide open for tastefull stuff even a 3 dimensional whisky, and or  with managing the take off valve and you can get azeotope up to 95% +

As you are a newbe my suggestion is to start with a potstill to learn the skills ,and after that you can decide what is best for you.

My question is do you have the skills/ possibillitys to build your own kettle ?
Otherwise buy one in Poland for cheap,or Portugal,if needed I can PM you some links.
Other question are you going to use gas or electric for heating ?

My tip start with a manualy very easy to use apparatus, not a fully automatic one.
We need more info from you  :)

Cheers K3
