Filter Build Question
« on: May 27, 2017, 08:14:45 PM »
Hello,

I just finished Gert Strand’s e-book again, and think I want to build one of these activated carbon filter swans that I have been seeing and reading about.

If I understand correctly, I will need to pack both vertical sections with a premium quality activated stone carbon.

I am thinking each vertical section will be a 2” x 12” or would I be better off going with 20” sections?

Thoughts?

That set up looks great , longer=better.
If possible go for combined lenght of 1 meter,so in your case go for  20" x 2

I will be going with the 20" tubes in the next couple of days.

Just finished wiring up a power controller this afternoon.

Thanks!
