K3,
I am back at it again.
Finally got the program to verify and upload.
Still had the error in line 89 of the program. Flexible array member in union
I changed [] to [1] and it verified and uploaded.
Hope this works, at least it uploads.
Now I am on to the rest of the build.
Thanks for everything
George

Yes, we did get off-topic. Oops.

Just shows how little I know. Android phones and tablets are popular here (maybe because of the low price?).
Not sure when to jump in. 5G should be available soon, maybe.

There are very cheap tablets in China  like teclast.
But if it works virtualy you do not need one.

Opera brouwser offers free vpn in android.

Sorry, I don't have a single Android device because it is Google.
Google was banned in China quite some time ago.
And that has caused a great deal of pain for me as it interferes with YouTube and all the other Google sites and apps.
So I must toggle a VPN on and off constantly. ON to access Google stuff and OFF for faster speed for everything else.

I've never had an Android device (tablet or phone) so I can't say if there is a work-a-round.

I use an Apple tablet here, would really like to use the much cheaper Android tablet if it works. I don't think it works here in China (but not 100% sure).

Ones downloaded you can use it offline on every android apparatus, maybe virtual  also.
It is the NZHD app

Really glad to hear Edwin will visit you, he is the Master!

After years of being afraid of Virtual Machine I find it was a bit silly to be afraid, I guess.
After some thought, and trial and error, I see you can run any other Operating System (OS) in a new window on the desktop.
And another OS in that window.
... and even another OS in that window (if your computer is powerful enough).

I read that very powerful computers and skilled programmers can go very deep with many layers or have lots and lots of OS's running on the top layer.
Well, that's all a bit over my head.

But "virtualizing" just one instance of another Operating System on your existing Desktop just isn't the big step that we thought it was.

I'm running Windows10 with a Linux Mint (v.19.3) window

Now even the new version of arduino works afterall.
Edwin visited us last week and he is full of plans so let see what he comes up with.

Your virtual machine is for me a bit to much  :)
I am glad that I can hit the keyboard and know were to find it  8)

Sounds like @concord has finally got it working!

That's great news.
Today I got my remote Win10 machine to access the internet and then post this message to the forum from a Virtual Machine located on a spare Win10/ Oracle/ VirtualBox/ Linux Mint repurposed computer.

Not a huge milestone for many folks. A big step for me.

Kind of cool, I guess. Not sure it is useful or not...

Great that it is working now, just solder the batt some way it must be possible.
Note : if I have the power true a adapter I ALWAYS have to press the reset button on the display,if the power is by a usb cable I do not have to press the reset button.
So depending how to power it you have to do that.

My sensor into the boca LM  is just below the plates in away NO reflux can get on to the sensor.

Maybe later you can upgrade to the smt172  sensor version as it is superior bar far.

Enjoy playing and learn.
Hope George will get his eparrot running too,and it is maybe a good idea to give each other a helping hand  ;)
